Logo Competition
Centre for the Management of Occupational Safety, Health & Environment (COSHE)was officially established in February 2004. The process for creating a safe work and educational environment involves everyone and is applicable in all departments throughout COSHE. The main purpose of COSHE is to provide a safe, healthy environment and protecting the environment through systematic work culture by staff, students, visitors and contractors. This center has been placed under the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) Office. In general, COSHE responsibility is to plan and implement monitoring, inspection and training programs and competencies to comply with the requirements of the National Legislation, particularly the Safety and Health Act (1994), the Factories and Machinery Act 1967, the Environmental Act 1974. It is to ensure the safety and health of every UniMAP citizen as well as visitors dealing with UniMAP. During 2020, COSHE want to rebranding their corporate identity by changing their log. Therefore, a logo design competition was held open to students, staff and the public.
